Milly Hopkins is a photographer, filmmaker, and writer based out of New York and Los Angeles. 
She aims to investigate the intersection between nature and human culture, and how it defines our shared cultural and political landscapes. She also specializes in portrait and editorial photography. 
Milly is an English and Comparative Literature candidate at Columbia University. She manages artists and events at Postcrypt Coffeehouse, a venerated folk-music venue in Harlem. She is an executive at Colab Performing Arts collective, where her multimedia installation work has been performed. She is a staff Arts and Culture writer at the Columbia Spectator. Her work has been featured in the Columbia Journal of Literary Criticism, the Wesleyan Argus, the Lavender Literary Magazine. Her film "Duckface" was selected for Columbia University's Obscura Film Festival. 
She has extensive experience as a curator, manager for visual artists, and photo tech, as well as a PA, DP, and assistant director.
